Photo Guide
PET PORTRAIT CREATION PHOTO GUIDE
The most awesome work of art starts with an awesome reference picture, and you don't have to be a pro or own a fancy camera to get it. Just follow these tips and we'll do the rest.
- Take a close up photo of your pet in natural outdoor light and from above the head at an angle that shows the face.
- Try to get your pet's photo to look sharply focused, make sure they are calm and relaxed. If your pet is moving, it's likely that the photo may contain some level of blur.
- Make sure their ear are in the photo, and that you aren’t blocking them out with objects or outside of the frame.

It's important to know that the designer uses the exact photo you provide for your portrait. Make sure the angle is appropriate for the chosen template and you're satisfied with the quality of the photo. We can correct red eye but we cannot recreate the photo.
